I thought it would be a good idea for us to have a separate thread in order to talk about various issues of the story here before we include it in the actual thread in order to make sure that everything fits together smoothly.

Here is what I had in mind for the races/cultures of the South so far.
South Humans (I've decided to name them Ifahari): The race of humans that live in the south live united under the rule of their religion. The religion is lead by the High Priest/ess, (currently Nyiadu.) Each town/community has some form of religious gathering varying in size and the rank of the leader based on the importance and size of the community. Towns are generally centralized around an oasis, or at the very least near one. The people rarely leave their towns except for merchants, hunters, or the occasional willful youth.
Ksardi:This race is made up of small nomadic communities that drift from oasis to oasis. They avoid contact with humans, though they don't bear them any hostility. Their primary source of food and material for their clothes and tents come from the large herbivore creatures they call Murno. Each community tends a herd of these creatures that they bring with them wherever they go. Each community is led by a cheiftan. While the title is handed down from parent to oldest child; should the community decide that it is in best interest that another leads, they can have the cheiftan replaced.
Sukasi [Edited due to grammatical errors.]

Characteristics of the Sviaak: Massive black carnivorous bird. Preferred prey is Murno, though it will attack humanoids that wander into it's territory. When it attacks, it stays flying in the air and dives down at the victim; either trying to grab it with it's beak or talons.

I got over my laziness and finally made up some names for my races.
Ifahari - The humans that live in the south.
Ksardi - The race of my main character.

just incase anyone cares, here is some info on the retrievers.
retreivers are a race of underling demons from the under world (what we would think of as hell) These mid-class demons are usualy used by higher-class demons for what their name emplies, retreiving things, objects, animals, even people or other demons. these creatures are usually about fifteen feet long with a hard grayish purple exoskeloten. they have four long legs wich are sharp and pointed at the ends and four front arms used for clubbing or slicing, theyre main defensive weapon is their tail, wich looks just like a scorpions tail and holds a deadly toxin. their most defining feature is their 1 foot long gripper extending past their mouth that is used to carry things more than kill. a retreiver is a very deadly creature, and only very powerful creatures can command them.

HAHA well I thought I would post a little about my characters race here. They are, well of course, the Dragon people. They have been long secluded from the rest of the peopls in the Southern kingdom. They have both magikal abilities of Fire and Earth. The ability of Earth was learned from a traveler who passed by and saw the Dragon people there. These are shapeshifters in every way, but mostly of their original form, the Dragon. Their leader, obviously my character, was born of the great red dragons and is known for his aggressive behavior towards those on his bad side. The Dragon peoples live in caves among the mountains and fly freely around in their own enviornment. But if by any chance a visitor should wonder by, they transform to a humanlike state. These people are a very loyal and trustwothy race. They hold to their word as best as they can.

These notes are just more for me as a reminder not to forget them:
Cass= Science expiriment
Species= unus (latin for one, only one, at the same time/ single, alone /unparalleled.)
This will make sense later on in the rp.
Cass is going crazy by visions until she finds out who she is.

Here's my thoughts on the Prophet/Nyiadu situation.
Maybe I am wrong to think of it this way, but I see this rp as the four of us writing a story together. My reason for having Nyiadu escape was that I didn't feel that it would be very powerful to kill her right now. She is still mainly portrayed as a woman only concerned with her self intrests rather than a 'good guy.' I still have plans for her, and it would be an inconvienience to create another character to fill the role that I was intending her to fill.
At the same time, Shadow seemed very determined to have his character escape. If you feel that 'fixing' a battle so that your character wins/dies/escapes/whatever will make the rp better, I am more than willing to do so.

okay.... i didnt really care if the prophet escaped or died by the way, him dieing would have made the story more complicated for me though, but i think we should just let the battles happen, it wouldnt be very exciting if we knew who was gonna die and live, of course the good guys have to win... maybe... but it could be a good idea depending on the situation

just incase you wondered, the guardian that was mentioned in the caves that the prophet ran from was the guardian of the east. now the guardians are great warriors, each one possesses powers according to the place they are from, (like north; ice, south; fire, ecetra ecetra) now the guardians are meant to protect the earth, but theyre powers are diminished and they cant become corporeal (whole, solid) thats why you guys can find out about it somehow, and fix theyre powers.

It seems in balance to me. Most of the main characters are rather powerful. Just as long as they are killable, it's not a big deal.
