As the stranger walked out of the doorway into the light, he felt the earth tremble. He looked around and saw a descolate, bair desert land. He felt somehing from inside him draw him towards this land, something of a feeling of home. As he walked, he began to feel more rejuvinated by this land. He felt life once again in his body. He felt flames engulf every inch of him, yet it did not burn. He started to concentrate on one point of the flames...the flames suddenly started to form a ball, but quickly disappeared...and suddenly he felt drained....before he passed out he realized, by tha map, that he must be in the South.....then nothing, he passed out

Zharid counted things off his mental list. "Primarily we need to get water containers for you. There are oasises there, but you'll need something to carry water around between them. A bit of food, and something to protect your face in the event of a sandstorm. Maybe a cloak or a robe too unless you don't mind sand getting everywhere. Preferrably a knife too for utility and last resort defense. And of course a bag to haul this stuff around in."
Zharid looked to the south. "I think I saw a collection of buildings to the south of here. Maybe they have a merchant there, or at the very least they'll be willing to part with some of their goods."

Zharid nodded at her and began walking. They traveled to the small village in relative silence. Zharid stopped once they reached the edge of town. He didn't know which of the buildings would most likely have a store, so he decided to ask one of the residents. A pale skinned, blonde headed woman was walking by so he decided to ask her.
"Excuse me, could you tell me where the local shop is?" Zharid asked.
The woman finally noticed him and gasped. The look of fear was apparent on her face. She just froze and stared at him.
Zharid sighed inwardly. Guess I'll have to use that talent Nyiadu loves so much. He focused his mind to reach out and touch hers. He encouraged her mind to artificially relax and persisted until she visibly untensed. He asked the question again.
"Oh. Jarvis would be the one to look for. His shop is in that building over there." The woman made a guesture at a nearby building.
Zharid inclined his head towards her. "Thank you for your time." He said as he walked into the shop.

*Cass frowned deeply...Something that had gone on there just had not seemed right. She decided she would keep quiet about this for a little while. So Cass stuffed her hands in her pockets and followed Zharid into the store...She glanced around curiousley wondering what all was here.*

As Zharid walked into the store the shopkeeper regarded him suspiciously, but nothing worse. He named off all the things he needed and the shopkeeper quickly gathered all the things he needed.
"How will you be paying for all this?" The shopkeeper asked.
"Will this cover it?" Zharid asked. He reached into his pocket and placed a flawless diamond on the table. The shopkeeper didn't hide his awe at the rock.
"You could probably buy the town with that." The shopkeeper said honestly.
"I don't have anything lesser to pay you with. Just consider the rest as my thanks for you not advertising my presence here." Zharid told him. He then looked over his shoulder at Cass. "Is there anything else you need?"

*Thinks for a moment.*
Well...I could prolly use a pair of clothes...the ones that I'm wearin' now make me stick out like a sore thumb...and like ya'll just said about ya'llselves...I don't wanna to advertise I'm not from 'round these parts.

Zharid nodded. "Good idea."
He watched as the shopkeeper went over to a chest and pushed it open. "We don't usually keep much clothes in stock. Most people around here usually make their own, but I should have something in here that would fit the woman over there." Zharid patiently listened to the man rattle on. After foraging around for a short time he walked back over to the table and brushed some dust off the clothing before placing it on the table with the rest of the items.
"That looks like it should do well enough." Zharid said. "Looks like we're ready to go then."

Zharid led them southward towards the desert. The sun was beginning to set, so Zharid detoured until he found a small lake.
"This will be our last source of water for a while, so I think we should rest here for the night." Zharid explained to Cass.

*Nods...more to herself ten anyone else.*
That there do seem logical.
*Looks around the place...this was her first night in the alien world. It was strange...yet Cass felt more comfortable here then she had in her world. But she decided she shouldn't think...she just realized she was extremley tired. Before she finised realizing it, the world blacked out on her.*

Zharid sighed to himself. I wonder what Nyiadu has in mind for her. He looked over where Cass sat down and saw she already fell asleep.
It's not really fair to drag her into this world's politics, but then, it's not really fair that I got dragged in either. He chuckled to himself.
He settled against a tree. He closed his eyes and rested lightly so if any disturbances came he would wake.
We woke up before the sun crested the horizon. He looked over to Cass and saw she was still asleep. He wasn't particularly surprised. She was stressed yesterday, she'll probably sleep in for a while. He stood up and stretched; waiting for her to wake up.

*Groggily wakes up and realizes the sun is high. Cass stretches lazily then bolts up quickly. She had dreamed she was in a palace and in her grogginess thats where she thought she had been, but then she remembered where she was. Cass wiped the sleep out of her eyes and went over to the water. It was so clear...not like the place she used to be...it had never truly felt like home to her...The water was so clear...you could see your reflection in the water. Cass looked at herself. She frowned. Something wasn't right...she looked the same...yet at the same time she didn't...Then it struck her, her hair was a dark red, and her eyes were the purest blue she had ever seen. Cass yelped and jumped back. Slowly she crawled back to the water to look at herself...her eyes were still her own grey...but her hair...it was blonde! The sun had bleached it out already...Cass's jaw dropped...the sun couldn't bleach hair that quickly and there ain't no way I'm goin' to be a blonde!*

Zharid was leaning against a tree when Cass woke up. She didn't seem like a morning person so he let her be while she bot her bearings. He was lost in his thoughts when he heard Cass make a startled noise. He quickly walked over to see what made her jump, but she was simply looking at her reflection. He looked at her to see what would make her react in such a manner.
Oh, her hair changed color. I remember hearing people talk about how the sun makes people's hair color lighter. I wonder if the color of my hair I chose would do that if it was real? Oh well. I don't know anything about it. Zharid shrugged to himself.
"If you don't find your current hair color appropriate, I think they sell stuff in the captial to make it look different; though it will be a while before we get there." Zharid told her.
